Maple-Glazed Cardamom Twists




*Ingredients:


°Basic maple pie recipe

° 2 Medium onion, finely chopped

° 1/2 cup maple syrup

°Salt and pepper to taste


* Preparation:



In a non-stick saucepan, fry the onion in the maple syrup for 20 minutes or until caramelized.



Salt and pepper.



Let it cool.



Put the butter paper on the baking tray.



On a floured worktop, roll the puffed pastry into a rectangle 46 cm × 20 cm (18 × 8 inches).



Spread the onion mixture on half the surface, then fold the other half of the dough over the onion. Cut into slices and fennel.



Place the rolls on a baking tray and leave in the freezer for about an hour, or until the dough freezes.



Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (400 ° F) and place in the middle.



Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
