°1 pound skinny steak see notes for other meat tips
°2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
°1 tsp Dijon mustard optional
°1 tsp garlic powder
°1 t kosher salt to taste
°1/2 teaspoon black pepper again as desired
°6-8 regular or smoked provolone cheese slices (see other cheese notes)
+Philly Sliding Sauce
°3-4 tbsp melted, salted or unsalted butter
°2 teaspoons light brown or dark sugar, optional
°1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
°1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
°1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
°1/4 teaspoon onion powder
°1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves or 1⁄2 teaspoon fresh chopped thyme

*Methods

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9 × 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Stir the Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper into a small bowl, set aside.
In a large frying pan (cast iron pan) heat the oil and add the slices of onion and green pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally over medium heat, until the pepper is cooked and the onion is slightly caramelized. Go to the side of the pan or if the pan is too small, take it out to a dish.
Increase the heat to medium to high temperature by adding shaved steak, using tongs, and throw shaved steak that works quickly to prevent shaved steak from lumping. Cooking until steak is slightly pink, but brown. Pour Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper that you have previously mixed, stirring to cover the shaved steak.
Stir the onion and pepper back into the beef, then remove from the heat.
The slides roll half horizontally while keeping the rolls together, and set aside. Place the bottom of the rolls in a prepared bread dish and spread the meat and onion mixture evenly over the top.

Enjoy !
