Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole



*INGREDIENTS

°1 lb extra-lean ground beef

°2 cloves garlic

°1 onion

°1 C (15 mL) Italian seasoning

°3 cups milk

°1 1/3 c (330 ml) hot water )

°12 oz spaghetti

°3 tablespoons pasta sauce (1 jar)

°1 red pepper

°1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

°1/4 c freshly grated Canadian parmesan or grated Italian cheese

°Fresh basil



*INSTRUCTIONS

In a saucepan, brown the beef over medium-high heat, breaking with a spoon; drain

Add garlic, onion and herbs; cook, stirring, for 3 min.Add milk and 1 cup (250 mL) water; simmer. Stir in broken spaghetti; simmer, stirring often.

Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring once, until the spaghetti soften. Stir in pasta sauce also red pepper; cover and simmer, stir often and add warmer Sprinkle with cheese also serve Garnished with basil.
